The Northwestern Health Unit recorded six new COVID cases over the long weekend.
There were two each in the Sioux Lookout and Kenora regions.
The Dryden and Red Lake district and Rainy River area both had one case each.
There are eight active cases in the region.
There are six new cases in the Thunder Bay district which covers the long weekends numbers.
The active count now sits at 11.
Provincially, Ontario registered 564 new cases today, 434 of which coming from people who are not vaccinated.
There were three COVID-related deaths.
Today there are 564 new cases of #COVID19. 434 cases are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 130 are in fully vaccinated individuals.
