The last big fishing tournament of the summer is this weekend.
It’s the 2021 Red Lake Fall Classic.
A drive-thru “Rules Night” will be held Friday at the Red Lake District High School parking lot at 5:00 pm.
There are changes to no-wake zones and penalties this year.
Anglers are asked to wear masks while on docks when checking in and weighing in over the weekend.
The awards ceremony is slated for Sunday at the Outdoor Pavilion on Hammell Road at 5:00 pm but seating will be limited due to COVID restrictions.
Organizers say they have worked hard to make this an amazing tournament and sponsorship and donations have been beyond generous.
They add, “This community, once again, has shown us how much it loves to support local.”
