More free online training is on offer from the provincial government.
Labour Minister Monte McNaughton announced it’s being funded with a total of $5.8-million from the Skills Development Fund this past week.
Courses will focus on building skills most in-demand by employers in fields such as information technology, finance and business administration.
McNaughton says workers will have access to over 17,000 courses taught by global industry experts.
“There are now more tools available to give workers the hand up they deserve, and to help them qualify for well-paying, in-demand jobs in their communities,” he says.
The free online training is available until March 31, 2022 through LinkedIn.
To apply, workers can visit LinkedIn or contact their local employment service provider.
