The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium is already planning for what it hopes is a return to normal next school year.
Officials say students that rode the bus regularly before the move to remote learning, they will be automatically registered for bussing next year.
That doesn’t include students whose distance eligibility has changed (such as move to a different school) as well as returning Grade 12 students.
They must re-register and all parents and guardians of students who are no longer eligible for busing will be contacted by email.
If your child rode the bus this year but don’t plan to next school year, you are asked to notify the Consortium by emailing bussing@nwobus.ca
The Consortium says staff are available throughout the summer to assist with bussing arrangements.
