Provincial Police in Dryden and Ignace saw more calls for traffic complaints over the past week.
Overall, police responded to 160 calls for service from Monday June 14 to Sunday June 20 and laid 65 charges under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code.
Some of the calls Police attended were:
- Traffic Complaints – 25
- Police Assistance – 6
- Assist Other Police Agency – 2
- Motor Vehicle Collision – 5
- Impaired/Over 80 – 2
- Mental Health Act – 3
- Mischief -3
- Traffic Hazzard – 3
- Unwanted Person – 2
- Theft – 1
In the previous weekly report, there were 118 calls for service and 48 charges laid.
There were 11 traffic complaints in the previous report with other call categories staying relatively the same.
