The home of the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose is getting a new name.
Canada Life and True North Sports and Entertainment have announced the downtown arena will be known as Canada Life Centre, effective July 1.
It’s part of a 10-year sponsorship agreement.
This is the second name change for the arena since it opened in 2004 as MTS Centre.
The facility typically hosts more than 140 events each year.
Canada Life Assurance hopes to have all new signage in place by September.
The company is considered a leading insurance, wealth management and benefits provider with more than 11,000 employees across the country and 3,300 in Winnipeg alone.
