Calls for service for the Dryden and Ignace OPP were down from the previous week but charges laid stayed about the same.
From Monday June 7 to Sunday June 13 police responded to 118 calls and laid 48 charges under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code.
Police responded to a variety of calls during the week including;
- Traffic Complaints – 11
- Police Assistance – 4
- Assist Other Police Agency – 4
- Trespass to Property – 2
- Animal Complaint-4
- Marine – 1
- Mental Health Act – 2
- Motor Vehicle Collision – 8
- Other Criminal Code – 1
- Noise Complaint – 1
The week before provincial police responded to 150 calls and laid 46 charges.
Some calls of note, traffic complaints and calls for police assistance were down compared to the previous week while trespassing and animal complaints stayed about the same.
