The Northwestern Health Unit says they have no new cases of COVID-19 to report Wednesday morning.
This marks the seventh day in the month of June that there have been no new cases in the northwest.
The NWHU says the number of active cases has gone down to two; one in the Dryden health hub and one in the Sioux Lookout hub.
To date, the regional health authority tells us that they’ve administered 61,359 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit recorded two new cases but both were outside the City.
There are 56 active cases in that area.
Ontario is reporting 411 new positives and 33 COVID-related deaths.
However, the Ministry of Health notes 11 deaths were from April and May.
The province has administered more than 1.2 million doses of the COVID vaccine.
