Make sure you have the air conditioner working in fine condition or the fan on high…it’s about to get hot!
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says a system based in the Atlantic is pushing warm weather our way.
Laidlaw says we are used to high temperatures at this of year, but not like this.
“We’re pushing records. Looking back a lot of our records here in northwestern Ontario for this time of year were set in 1998, so it’s a long time since we’ve been this warm.”
The CKDR Meteorologist says the hot conditions are expected to hang around next week as well.
Laidlaw says highs will be in the 30’s almost every day.
There’s not a lot of rain in the forecast.
The official start to Summer isn’t until June 20.
