The Sioux Lookout Public Library has a new five year strategic plan.
The plan identifies priorities in four specific categories:
–Hospitality and User Experience
-Outreach and Community Engagement
-Collections and Technology
-Staffing and Human Resources
The vision for the Library is Your Community Living Room and officials say they strive to be: Inclusive, Positive, Flexible, and Innovative.
The library says the mission is “providing equal access to information in a welcoming environment where you can explore, connect, learn, and engage with the help of knowledgeable and professional staff.”
The strategic plan follows extensive consultations and research by volunteers and library staff.
