RIDE time is anytime.
That’s the message from the Dryden Police Service heading into the May Long weekend.
Police confirm they will be doing rotating RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) checks over the holiday weekend.
The service wishes everyone a happy and safe long weekend and reminds residents to celebrate responsibly.
Police stress to leave the driving to someone sober if you’ve been consuming alcohol, cannabis or other drugs.
Police say everyone to do can do their part to prevent impaired driving this holiday weekend by:
• Never operating a car, boat, ATV or any other vehicle while impaired
• Never riding with a driver who is impaired
• Calling 911 to report suspected impaired drivers
