The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office is leading the investigation into the fatal fire at the Glenview Rentals complex in Dryden Wednesday afternoon.
The blaze claimed the life of 13 year old Evan Wesley.
The Dryden Fire Service says the fire was contained to a single unit.
Officials say crews arrived to heavy flames and smoke and the attack and rescue began immediately.
A family friend says everyone was trying to get in the room of Evan Wesley, but the smoke was so bad, it was like a swirling forest fire.
The fire caused considerable damage to the building and four families are reported displaced.
