A member of the Provincial Police in Red Lake has been honoured by the force for the work he does in the community.
Sergeant Dave Lamme has received the Youth Development Award for his exceptional efforts assisting youth.
Lamme is very involved in the Red Lake area ensuring youth remain active, safe, and healthy.
He also volunteers his time as coach of the High School Hockey team.
Lamme received the award this week from Staff Sergeant Matt Norlock as part of Ontario Police Week celebrations.
The OPP say the community is proud and thankful of his time and dedication.
