The Oxdrift Fire Team is saying goodbye to a valuable member of their team.
Chief Donna Cockle is retiring.
Cockle has served with the team for 31 years.
Along with her many years as Fire Chief, she was a firefighter and head of the EFR team.
Officials say Cockle was instrumental in the upgrading of their fleet, from used trucks converted to tankers and brand new ones.
She even modified an old Dryden Telephone equipment van to a new rescue truck.
Her colleagues went on Facebook to call her a strong and dedicated leader.
Scott Trach will take over as Chief.
