The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 11 new COVID positives today.
There are three each in the Kenora and Emo Health Hubs.
The Dryden and Fort Frances areas both have two.
There is one new case in the Red Lake region.
The health unit is confirming it is investigating a case situation at the Evolution Mine site but is unable to provide additional detail at this time.
There are now 68 active cases in the Health Hubs: 24 Kenora, 16 Sioux Lookout (7 in the Municipality of Sioux Lookout), 14 Emo, 9 Fort Frances, 3 Red Lake, 2 Dryden
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon says the high numbers in Kenora partially relates to a social group that has been interacting for a fair bit.
A total of 21,827 doses of COVID vaccines have been administered.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has 61 actives following 10 new cases Friday.
Ontario is back over 4,000 with 4,505 infections.
