The Nuclear Waste Management Organization is inviting local residents and Indigenous peoples to fill out an online survey and help shape their plans for the future.
The survey is part of the release of the five-year strategic implementation plan and looks at the current site selection process and beyond.
It provides updates on safety and security planning as well as information on community engagement.
The next five years will see the agency move from an organization that is planning to build an underground repository to one that is implementing that plan in either Ignace or South Bruce.
Vice-President of Communications Lisa Frizzell says local feedback drives and informs their work and they need to hear from everyone to ensure they are on the right track.
Responses will be accepted until June 11.
