The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 Monday.
Both are in the Sioux Lookout Hub area.
Follow up with the persons involved and their contacts has started and anyone who is identified will be notified directly.
This is the first time in four days that cases haven’t been in double digits.
The number of active cases has dropped to 74. (Sioux Lookout: 37. Kenora 34. 2 Dryden. 1 Fort Frances)
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is also reporting single digit numbers with nine positive results.
The number of active cases now stands at 325.
Officials are confirming the 40th death from COVID-19.
In Ontario there were 1,699 new cases three deaths.
