For the second day in a row, there have been 14 new cases of COVID-19 in the region.
This time, 10 of the positive results are in the Kenora area and four are in the Sioux Lookout region.
The number of active cases has dropped to 67, but there are still 32 each in the Sioux Lookout region and Kenora area and three in the Dryden area.
The Thunder Bay District reports 38 new COVID-19 infections, putting the district at 399 active cases.
This is the first time since March 7th that the district has had fewer than 400 active cases of the virus.
Province-wide, there are over 17 hundred new cases and 10 more people have died due to COVID-19.
In the meantime, people born in 1941 or earlier can book an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine online or by phone.
The booking site is found at www.ontario.ca/bookvaccine.
For those without internet access, an appointment can be booked by calling the provincial call centre at 1-833-943-3900.
Starting on March 22nd, anyone 75 or older can book an appointment.
The Health Unit says due to current health measures there will be no drop-in clinics.
