Three more positive cases of COVID-19 in the Kenora area Thursday.
That goes along with three Wednesday.
The Northwestern Health Unit says follow up with the persons involved and their contacts has started and anyone who is identified will be notified directly.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting 21 new cases including 7 related to the outbreak at the jail.
That region now has 106 active cases.
The City of Thunder Bay is seeing a number of positive cases in its schools including Pope John Paul II Elementary, Westgate High School, McKellar Park Central, and St. Martin School.
Meantime an outbreak has been declared among those who are homeless or precariously housed in the city.
Health officials say recent enhanced testing and surveillance shows a small but significant increase in positive tests.
In Ontario as a whole, there were 945 reported cases and 18 more deaths.
However data issues in Toronto means there is an underreporting of cases.
