Following a lengthy investigation Provincial Police can finally confirm the identity of human remains found November 5, 2020 in Dinorwic.
OPP were called to a Railway Avenue home where 75 year old Richard McLeod was found dead.
While at the scene of the homicide, officers responded to a residential fire on a neighbouring property owned by Daniel Lethbridge.
Human remains were found but emergency personnel couldn’t identify the victim because of the severity of the blaze.
On Wednesday the Officer of the Chief Coroner positively identified the remains as 48 year old Daniel Lethbridge.
Police continue to investigate both incidents.
