The pandemic is weighing heavily on many people’s physical and mental health these days.
Dr. David Goldbloom, Staff Psychiatric with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, says a significant number of Canadians now struggle with anxiety, depression and uncertainty.
He says getting back to a routine can help ease those feelings.
“Find time to not work. Find time to go outside everyday, temperature dependent, and get out and get some actual physical activity.
Dr. Goldbloom says COVID-19 has made it that more important to stay connected and talk about mental health, even if it’s through online calls with family and friends.
Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day…a day dedicated to creating positive change in mental health.
