Every day for almost a year now we have been extra cautious in light of COVID-19. Doing what we need to do to stay safe.
One of those things that many of us have been doing is self-monitoring our body temperature – making sure that we are not going to work or being around others if we have an elevated temperature. Making sure not only that we are well but also ensuring the safety of our co-workers and everyone else. It’s up to each of us to make sure those around us are safe – not just in the workplace but anywhere else we might come in close contact with other people.
So what is a ‘normal’ body temperature? Do you know? This will help: https://www.healthline.com/health/what-is-normal-body-temperature
Taking our temperature is only one of the things we do daily at CKDR to ensure that we can continue to do what we do. It’s only one of many precautions that I’ve worked in to my daily routine. I don’t think it will stop anytime soon. It’s not the new normal anymore. It’s normal activity.
I hope each and everyone of you is doing what needs to be done. Who ever you are, where ever you are – stay safe ad keep others safe.
Oh and as you can see by this picture my temperature read out this morning is below normal – no fever. That’s the good news!
My wife and many others would agree that – I am not normal….but that can be a good thing.
