Can’t believe my career has brought me to a place in my life where I would write in-depth about the leafy greens, yet here we are. Asparagus.
A cool fun fact about the tall green machine: according to the Guinness World Records, the longest asparagus was 138.5 inches long. This record was set on October 2nd, 2004 by Harry and Carson Willemse in Canada.
Traditionally a healthy snack, and side staple for many meals… it’s also being used to predict the future. Jemima Packington of Britain is 64 years old, and an avid ‘Asparamancer.’ She claims that she can see into the future by throwing the veg in the air – and interprets the messages of the broken spears when it hits the ground.
Packington also claims that she’s been 80% right in the last couple years. Predicting things like turmoil in the Royal Family to the impeachment of Donald Trump.
She inherited the gift from her Mother who had the power to tell the future through tea leaves.
Anyone willing to test this theory out? Let me know what messages you see on your dinner plate tonight!
