Another person has died of COVID-19 in the Thunder Bay District.
The total death toll since the pandemic started is now 19.
There are 75 active cases in that area.
To date, Thunder Bay’s health unit has had 580 cases since March, with no one currently in hospital.
The Northwestern Health Unit has 19 active cases and 2 hospitalizations.
The catchment area has seen 162 cases and 1 death since the start of the pandemic.
Province wide Wednesday there was another record when it comes to new confirmed cases.
The Ministry of Health is reporting 2,923 cases and 19 new deaths.
