After a year of uncertainty and changes, the business community is heading into 2021 more connected than before.
Charla Robinson is a member of the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce and says the importance of partnerships was a big lesson from this year.
“Businesses reaching out to each other, to help each other. Businesses connecting with charities, recognizing the support that they needed. You know lot’s of partnerships happened this year.”
Robinson says those partnerships will probably continue through the new year.
She adds many businesses showed a lot of resiliency in finding new ways to operate.
“Between delivery companies and grocery stores and restaurants. The partnerships between groups to develop PPE. People making masks that have never been in the mask making business or the hand sanitizer making business.”
