A heads up for all local parents and students.
The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium says there are school bus cancellations Thursday due to inclement weather and the resulting road conditions.
All bus routes in Dryden have been cancelled for Thursday, along with Kenora, Upsala UP82 (Upsala to Ignace) and Red Lake RL1 (service south of Ear Fall from Perrault Falls).
They tell us that all other buses will run as usual and that all schools remain open.
The snowfall that caused the cancellations is expected to continue throughout the morning on Thursday.
