A fast-moving system is expected to sweep into our area from the west overnight, bringing flurries and freezing rain to the Trans Canada Highway.
A weather advisory has been issued for Winnipeg, Kenora, Dryden, and Ignace as well as Fort Frances and International Falls to the South.
At 7 pm, Doppler Radar was showing a system with snow and rain just west of Kenora and moving eastward.
If you find yourself on the highway tonight, please slow down and watch for ice patches on the road.
