The spread of the coronavirus continues with another eight cases across the Thunder Bay District.
Two of the people had no known exposure to an infected person, while most of the rest caught it through close contact.
Those include someone at St. Martin School, although the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board says there is no evidence of school-related spread.
It’s been a record-breaking two days for Ontario’s COVID-19 figures.
For the first time, the province has confirmed 1,924 new cases, after yesterday’s record high of 1,859.
New infections have increased steadily over the past month, as the Thunder Bay District prepares to move into the Orange or Restrict level of the province’s COVID-19 framework.
