New funding is now available for local municipalities to quickly advance critical infrastructure projects.
Applications are now being accepted for the Ontario COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure fund.
The province is making available $250-million and the deadline to apply is December 21 for communities submitting single projects and January 7 for those with multiple projects.
Eligible projects include infrastructure to support physical distancing, social infrastructure, active transportation and disaster mitigation projects.
Projects will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The government has released how much money will be available to Ontario communities.
