Flight Sergant Frank Levi Olsen was the son of Christian and Mathilda Olsen of Dryden.
He was raised and attended school in Dryden.
Enlisting early, he served in the RCAF and was involved in the defense of Malta in the Mediterranean. He was promoted to Warrant Officer just before arriving in Malta.
During a patrol, Frank went Missing over Malta on November 10, 1942. His body was never found and it is presumed his aircraft went into the ocean.
Frank was just 22 and his name appears on Panel 5, Column 1 of the Malta Memorial.
