For the first time in months, there are no forest fires burning in northwestern Ontario.
A stubborn blaze on Lake Nipigon is finally out.
The fire hazard is mainly low to moderate in the region.
The public is still urged to use caution with outdoor burning.
A reminder fires are to be ignited no sooner than two hours before sunset and extinguished no later than two hours after sunrise.
The quiet situation here has allowed 18 fire management personnel remain in Oregon to help manage large fires in the state.
The fire season officially comes to an end on October 31st.
