Pikangikum, Kasabonika, and Sandy Lake First Nations have the latest COVID-19 cases in the Northwest.
The Sioux Lookout Health Authority says the Kasabonika case is connected to five others that were confirmed on Thursday.
A Facebook post from Pikangikum Chief Dean Owen says the person in his community is reportedly doing well and is self-isolating.
Health officials are now tracing who they may have come into contact with.
A total of 365 cases were reported across Ontario by the end of yesterday, after the number spiked over 400 the past two days.
That surge in cases is the reason we are now limited to ten people for indoor private gatherings and 25 people for outdoor private events.
