Saturday is the day to get rid of your unwanted hazardous material in the City of Dryden.
This is Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.
Rotary member Roger Gould says volunteers will be able to help you from 8:30am until 4:00.
“When the vehicles show up at Public Works, each resident will not get out of their vehicle, they just stay right in their vehicle and they follow a route right into the Public Works garage. We have all of the Rotarians that do the emptying of the vehicles and then that individual drives right out the other way. There’s no touch. All we’re doing is picking up all of their hazardous goods.”
You are asked to keep products in their original containers if possible and should keep individual products separate and don’t mix them together.
It’s a free service offered by the Rotary Club, City of Dryden and Miller Environmental.
