The partnership between Evolution Mining and the Municipality of Red Lake continues to be strengthened.
The community was hit with a State of Emergency in early August as the result of a nearby wildfire and evacuation.
Evolution is now saying thank you to all first responders and volunteers who worked tirelessly during the crisis.
The company is giving back with a $50,000 donation to assist the Municipality with costs incurred during the emergency.
Evolution is also recognizing the local volunteer teams who worked hard to sustain the fire.
They are committing to donate a $450,000 new fire truck for the Balmertown Fire Department.
The vehicle is expected to arrive mid next year.
