Ignace OPP were wrapping up an investigation on the Trans Canada about supper time Saturday when they clocked an oncoming vehicle doing more than 50kph over the posted speed limit.
The incident occurred just east of Upsala at about 5:30.
When all was said and done, 28-year old John Johnston of Thunder Bay faces charges of Impaired Driving, Driving with blood alcohol reading of over .08, Stunt Driving and Mischief Under $5,000.
As a result, the man faces an immediate license suspension and his vehicle was impounded.
He’ll appear in Court in October
