The school year has officially come to a close but the acknowledgments keep coming in.
Skills Ontario traditionally hosts community events and contests to help promote the skilled trades field.
Because schools were closed and most activities were offered virtually, the organization issued “At Home Challenges” for students in different trades.
One local student was at the top in all of the province.
Dryden High School Grade 9 student Danielle Henderson placed second in the secondary cosmetology category for Skills Ontario’s wacky hair challenge.
