Tis the season.
The season of bugs. No not Bugs Bunny. His season was last month.
Bugs. Those mostly irritating, annoying, buzzing insects that invade our lives for several months every year. They seem to have inside information as to when we will be wearing less clothing which ultimately means a larger feeding ground for them.
Bugs. For some they are more than just annoying. They can be the source of an ultimate fear.
For me the biggest annoyance is the pesky mosquito at night. The constant chatter of that single flying blood sucker…..in the bedroom….when all of the lights are off. And as soon as you turn the lights on to find the sleep disturber…. the Vulcan cloaking device is activated. The buzzer is no where to be found. Lights go back off and it resumes….’zzzzzzz’….and that’s not the sound of you snoring.
Yes they are or will be arriving for their summer vacation. Some of them crossing the Canada-U.S. border despite travel restrictions. They just don’t care.
The kamikaze-type flyers are on a mission every year – to disturb your serenity and sanity as much as possible. And it’s just you they are after right?!
They bug me. How about you?
