Dryden Police are reporting a large seizure of contraband tobacco after a traffic stop.
Police say on Saturday they stopped a vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act violation and upon investigation had reason to believe the occupants were trafficking contraband tobacco.
Police then say a search of their vehicle revealed a hefty quantity of illegal tobacco with a street value of $225,000.
Dryden Police say a 26-year-old and 20-year-old both from Winnipeg have been charged with Adult Trafficking in Contraband Tobacco.
Police also say a 57-year-old from Winnipeg has also been charged with Adult Trafficking in Contraband Tobacco as well as Failure to Comply with a Release Order.
All of the accused were released on an undertaking and will appear in Dryden court on June 29th.
