Premier Doug Ford is once again putting out the call to stay at home this long weekend to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Ford says “We just recommend that people stay within their own province. We’ve had this conversation. I think all the Premiers have agreed let’s stay within our own boundaries right now.”
Ford says he is hoping to see the COVID-19 numbers continue to go down so we can start travelling more.
The Acting Medical Officer of Health for the Northwestern Health Unit has made a similar plea despite low virus numbers in Sunset Country and eastern Manitoba.
