Provincial Police in Dryden have seized a large quantity of illegal cigarettes.
Police say they conducted the traffic stop on Highway 17 west of Dryden in Wainwright Township on Wednesday at around 2:36pm.
Police then say they found 54 cases of unmarked cigarettes and they were seized by police.
The estimated value of the cigarettes is $214,000.
OPP say 62-year-old Alfred Guenther of Winnipeg has been charged with trafficking contraband tobacco and will appear in Dryden Court on July 20th, 2020.
