DOMTAR DIFFERENCE-MAKERS
We’re getting SO MANY nominees, it’s amazing! So this week, we’re thrilled to announce THREE Domtar Difference-Makers!
Our first difference-makers are the Sunset Quilters Guild and the sewing community of Dryden – for their amazing efforts in creating hand-sewn face masks and gowns for essential frontline workers. These items are collected ‘contact-free’ and then distributed in our region.
Our next difference-maker of the week is Angela Roussin. Angela has been providing FREE online painting classes to help provide a creative outlet to support positive mental health during these difficult times. Her online classes have been viewed as far away as England!
Finally, Domtar recognizes Stacy Reid – a night shift worker at McDonald’s – for providing exceptional customer service with a smile, brightening the days and nights of essential shift workers.
Congratulations to this week’s Domtar Difference-Makers! Thank you all for working to make a difference in our community!
Nominate A Difference-Maker!
Do you know of someone in our community that is making a difference during the COVID-19 crisis?
Someone that is working extra hard, going above and beyond to help out or being especially thoughtful?
We want to hear all about it!
Nominate a community DIFFERENCE-MAKER by emailing differencemaker@domtar.com.
Tell us what this person or group is doing that makes them a difference-maker.
We will select a community difference-maker of the week to be profiled on CKDR and they will receive a voucher for a take out meal at restaurant of their choice in Dryden.
It’s Domtar’s way of saying thank you to our community!
