DOMTAR DIFFERENCE-MAKERS
It’s time to announce this week’s Domtar Difference-Makers!
Up first, Jamie Miller, for her outstanding efforts in working with her church family and community as a whole to help those in need. She posts regularly on her Facebook page, reaching out with offers to do shopping, provide meals, and offer activities for those who are isolated and alone. She and her family recently prepared and delivered several Easter meals to seniors and others in the community – and she arranged for an online Good Friday church service!
Our second Difference-Maker is Carly Brown. Although her business, Lokah Sangha Yoga, is closed, she is providing FREE online yoga for the entire community in an effort to offer positive physical and mental health activities during this difficult time.
A HUGE thank you to Jamie and Carly for doing their part to make a difference in our community!
Nominate A Difference-Maker!
Do you know of someone in our community that is making a difference during the COVID-19 crisis?
Someone that is working extra hard, going above and beyond to help out or being especially thoughtful?
We want to hear all about it!
Nominate a community DIFFERENCE-MAKER by emailing differencemaker@domtar.com.
Tell us what this person or group is doing that makes them a difference-maker.
We will select a community difference-maker of the week to be profiled on CKDR and they will receive a voucher for a take out meal at restaurant of their choice in Dryden.
It’s Domtar’s way of saying thank you to our community!
