A COVID-19 Assessment Centre is now coming to the Sioux Lookout area.
The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is opening the dedicated, out-of-hospital clinic on Friday.
The Assessment Centre runs on an appointment-only basis for safety reasons as walk-in appointments are strictly prohibited.
The Centre will be located in the parking lot at the hospital’s main entrance in an effort to keep traffic away from the Emergency Department.
The Assessment Centre can be contacted at a dedicated phone number, (807) 737-5880, and the hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
People who do not have COVID-19 symptoms will not be seen at the Assessment Centre and will be redirected as appropriate.
