The Ford government is planning more announcements to help those affected by the coronavirus crisis.
Northern Development Minister Greg Rickford says “The energy system obviously is important. When more families and people find themselves staying in their home. We are looking at options and we are busy now planning the second stimulus package from the province.”
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP hints that may be a highlight in Wednesday’s economic update.
Rickford says another highlight is “A $300-million relief package focused primarily on health matters and making final decisions on how that will be best utilized is something that Cabinet committee is doing.”
