The Dryden Food Bank will resume service on Wednesday.
However, a number of safety measures will be in place to protect everyone from COVID-19.
They include:
-Bookings for hampers will only be accepted by phone. Please be patient as we expect larger call volumes
-No walk in bookings will be allowed
-Only two people will be allowed into the building at any time
-Back packs, cloth bags or other type of bags will not be allowed in building
-Clients will no longer be permitted to pack their own hampers
-It is extremely important that clients arrive only at your assigned pick-up time
-Washroom will be closed to public.
Food Bank Manager Allen Huckabay says they want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while they worked on implementing new protocols to safely serve the community, and keep staff and volunteers safe while protecting public health.
