Red Lake has made the decision to now close all municipal facilities to the public.
The shutdown will run until April 5th at the earliest.
No work disruptions are anticipated but the public is being told to stay away to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
The Transfer Station remains open but there will be no cash transactions.
Bag tags are available at the station, TJ’s Kwik Stop, Diane’s Cash Bar and Mitchell’s Midtown.
Closures impact the Arena and Hall, the Municipal office, all libraries, the Public Works garage and office, Market Pavilion and Balmertown Outdoor Rink change rooms, the Red Lake Community Centre, and the Heritage Centre Gift Shop.
Residents unable to pay bills online will be provided without penalty.
Travel restrictions for work involving staff and council are in place.
