Dryden Police are reporting theft and impaired driving charges after a stolen vehicle investigation in the city.
Police say on Thursday at 8:30am they received a report of a stolen 2003 Chevrolet truck from the Dryden GM parking lot.
Dryden Police then say later at around 11:06am they received another complaint of a theft from Extra Foods where a man stole groceries and fled in a Chevy pick-up truck.
Police say while responding to the complaint, they intercepted the stolen vehicle and the lone occupant of the vehicle was arrested.
Police also say further investigation revealed that the driver was also impaired by drugs.
Dryden Police say 34-year-old Joseph Kyle Desautels of Dryden has been charges with two counts of Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000 and Impaired Driving.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear for April 6th.
