Cochenour’s Cody Bruchkowski has been named Monkey Team Sports, by Northland, Performer of the Month for February in the Superior International Junior Hockey League.
The 20-year-old recorded a point in all eleven games the Thunder Bay North Stars played in last month, finishing with 16-goals and 8-assists.
Bruchkowski had six multi-goal games and notched a pair of game winning goals.
He enters this month riding a 20-game point streak and has only been held off the score sheet three times in 47 games with the North Stars.
Bruchkowski leads all skaters in the 131-team Canadian Junior Hockey League in goals so far this season with 60.
He leads the SIJHL in points with 90.
Dryden GM forward Nolan Marshall and Spencer Milne of the Red Lake Miners also received consideration.
