A second annual event to support community projects and organizations is set for Saturday at the Memorial Arena.
The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are hosting their ‘Our Hometown, Our Pack’ fundraiser in support this year of the Dryden Recreation Extension and Modification Committee.
Crystal Ogilvie and Lori Russell were guests on the CKDR Morning Show today (Wednesday) to help promote the event.
Ogilvie says the boys will be wearing their vintage grey jerseys that night and they have secured a special youth jersey.
She says the players will autograph that jersey and you have a chance to win it during a Toonie Toss.
Russell says another highlight is a one-of-a-kind special program that will be on sale.
“Definitely a keep sake item. There’s a lot of information about each of the players within the program and we spent time with the guys and asked them some questions about their hockey journey’s.”
Russell notes there’s an in-depth write-up on each member of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
You can win a 55 inch television donated by Gould’s with the purchase of a program.
There will also be a fill the skate event and an autograph session with the team following the game.
Adults will be able to enjoy a Beer Gardens being organized by DREAM.
Three volunteers will be recognized before the game with a ceremonial puck-drop.
On the ice the Dryden GM Ice Dogs face the Thief River Falls Norskies at 7:30pm
