The winning ways continue for the Red Lake Miners.
Former Ice Dog Carson Lux scored his second goal of the game midway through the third period on a power play lifting the Miners to a 5-4 win over Dryden GM Friday night.
Red Lake held a 4-1 lead thanks to goals from Morgan Venne, Hunter Halcrow and Noah Kwasny before the Ice Dogs stormed back.
Sam Mouland scored his first two goals of the season while Dylan DiTomaso and Curtis Magas also found the back of the net.
Red Lake outshot Dryden GM 40-36.
The Miners are now four points ahead of second place Thunder Bay as the North Stars lost in Thief River Falls 6-4.
The Ice Dogs remain two points up on Wisconsin as the Lumberjacks fell 5-4 in Fort Frances.
The rematch between Dryden GM and Red Lake is Saturday at 7:00 in Cochenour.
